Additional Information: Jack English was the driving force behind this club. He ran some very good shows in the early 80s, which were always well attended. With his untimely death, the club went into a  decline. Severe financial problems meant the club was about to fold, so the TTAA Council arranged for speakers to attend for free, and a also part financed a mini show and auction to help build up funds. All of the judges this show at their own expense. All of the good will from the FBAS & TTAA meant the club had enough money to run a full open show later in the year. When the show was announced, it was to be run to NEFAS standards with NEFAS judges, a kick in the teeth for all those TTAA members who had put in work for the club. The TTAA was no longer willing to help the club again and it soon folded. Paul Barrow
