Hartlepool & District Aquatic Society was formed by a small group of enthusiasts and had a few successful shows in the 1990s, before the untimely death of the lady secretary. Another main member  formed her own aquatic maintenance co. ‘Aqua Tech’ and the club disappeared soon after.
