Keith Drummond 1969-2008

 Keith was known from a young age by many STAMPS members. His mother and father, Jean & Ken Drummond, having been active members of South Shields AS, Caer Urfa AS (29 years), and latterly STAMPS. His untimely death, last year, brought a proposal for a memorial trophy at December's AGM; this was unanimously passed. The Keith Drummond Memorial Trophy for Best Society was displayed at the last meeting in February 2009, and the club also decided to honour Keith with a memorial page on the club's website. Everyone who met Keith liked him and knew he was a credit to his parents. 



Keith was born on 13 September, 1969. 
When he finished his 'A' levels he joined the RAF in 1988 for 10 years. 
He was involved in the first Gulf conflict in 1990. He kept fish before joining the RAF but had to give it up because of the travelling.













When he came out of the RAF he married and settled in the south of England with his wife Wendy. 
The light of his life was Joseph who was born in 2002. 











He had a couple of jobs but settle into a one he really loved. 
A private airline called Direct Flight. He travelled the world operating an atmospheric research aircraft. 






Keith and Wendy used to sing in their spare time and were called Perfect Day. 
On 15th May, 2008, Keith went to sleep and did not wake.
