A New Way of Judging at FBAS Open Shows
Compiled by STAMPS

At the beginning of 2008, the FBAS introduced a revised judging system to complement DEFRA's new guidelines. Size will no longer be judged to 20 but the points shared equally between size & presentation. Presentation will be used to make sure of the of the fish's welfare, a full explanation can be found in the FBAS publication Booklet 5, page 13-2. Marine fish will no longer be shown at Open Shows. (see a new judging sheet). The new system is as follows:
